Garden Route Newborn Photographer

How can working with newborns even be called a job when I get to spend time with these tiny, adorable little bodies?! I am a Garden Route Newborn photographer and absolutely love these sessions. There is something so special about holding these little ones and capturing priceless memories for families to treasure forever.

I photographed Johan and Lee-Ann’s maternity session and couldn’t wait to meet their little princess. Lana arrived a few weeks early and was such a tiny, delicate newborn. I loved every moment with her! She was very curious at first and didn’t want to sleep {probably afraid she’d miss out on something fun, hehe}. But eventually, we got her to sleep, and I captured the most beautiful photos of her!

As a Garden Route Newborn photographer, I always prioritize baby safety. I am a member of INPA (International Newborn Photography Association) and take every precaution to ensure a safe session.

I always make sure that:

• The studio is comfortably heated.
• I never leave the baby alone in a prop.
• The props I use are secure and stable.
• The baby is always positioned comfortably.
• I never force a newborn into a pose. Every baby is unique, so I adjust based on what makes them comfortable.

It’s a great idea to book your newborn session while you are still pregnant!  I’d love to capture these special first moments for you.
