Maternity Sessions are always a bliss!

I had so much fun doing this Garden Route maternity shoot with the Gerber family. I have known them for more than a year now. This is the 4th photo shoot I did for them. I love it to be part of every milestone of a family! We scheduled this session a little close to due date, but luckily the little one did not surprise us by showing up earlier than expected.

The Gerber family lives on a farm in the Garden Route and therefor we decided to do a beach maternity session. This was something different than all of their other sessions. It was super cold down on the beach, but we had so much fun that we only realized by the look of our purple feet and hands that it was freezing during the whole session! I just love the Garden Route and its scenic beaches. Each beach has its own “look en feel” and we us photographers have so many to choose from! I simply LOVE this beach in Wilderness. One gets bets of both worlds – ocean with rocks and a beautiful old bridge in die background.

Karen, you are a beautiful pregnant woman. You looked beautiful and that dress was simply WOW! The blue flowy dress was the prefect choice for a beach session! I am already excited to meet your little one! May this precious newborn bring so much joy to your family.  I know that Mishke will love having a little brother =) Pregnancy is such a great blessing and I am truly grateful that I could photograph this special time in your family’s life.
